Keeper of the sacred flame, carrying hope and warmth against the encroaching dark. The Lightbearer has something no other Stonetop class has, and it isn't where you'd expect to find it.
Invocations live on the Stats tab
Your invocations are not moves, so they don't appear on the Moves tab. Sled Dog gives them their own panel on the Stats tab, below your vitals.
You start with two. The panel lists every invocation available to you — Bath of Healing Light, Blinding Light, Cleansing Light, Cold Light of Day, Dancing Light, Go Back to the Shadow, Hold Back the Darkness, and the rest — with the ones you know selected. Take another when you level and it's a click.
Several are marked (ongoing). Sled Dog shows the tag but doesn't track which of yours are currently burning; note that in Harm & conditions on the same tab, or say it out loud at the table. Ongoing invocations are the thing a Lightbearer forgets most often, and the sheet won't remind you.
Your background's grant
- Auspicious Birth — adds a 1-use move to your Moves tab. Its use circle is on the move card: tap it to spend, and clear it when you Make Camp or Convalesce.
- Itinerant Mystic — adds Enigma, which you hold and spend. Track the amount in the move's own notes (tap ⋯); you start play holding 3.
- Soul on Fire — see the background text on your Character tab.
Special possessions
You pick two. The Lightbearer's list leans toward light and craft:
- Chandlery — candles, which land as small items on your Inventory tab
- Glassworks, Luthier's tools, Distillery
- Books & scrolls — worth noting which books in the item's notes
- Holy relics — a relic that becomes significant in play may be worth asking your GM to promote into a proper arcanum, which gets its own card and unlock requirements
Where things live
| Thing | Tab |
|---|---|
| Invocations | Stats |
| Moves, including granted ones | Moves |
| Candles, relics, books | Inventory |
| Ongoing effects you're sustaining | Stats → Harm & conditions |
| Any relic your GM promotes | Arcana |
If you can't find your invocations, you're on the wrong tab — they're under your HP, not with your moves.
